Hello and welcome!  If you have landed here, you are probably thinking about buying or selling a house in the Portland metro area.  I’m here to help!  Your home is most likely the biggest purchase you ever make, so it can be stressful.  Part of my job is to take the mystery out of buying or selling your house, so you can make an informed decision that is best for you.

I love architecture, especially houses.  So much so, that I spent more than 15 years as an architectural historian before becoming a real estate broker.  As an architectural historian, I had to be meticulous, observant, and do my research.  I ran my own business, so I had to know how to negotiate with engineers, architects and bureaucrats, write contracts, and know state and federal regulations inside-out.

Now as a real estate broker, I use these skills for my clients. I have years of experience looking at buildings critically, noticing the details.  As an architectural historian, I’ve seen the “before” and the “after” of some pretty major projects.  I can walk you through just about any condition, and market your historic house in a way other agents can’t.

I’m also going to pay attention to the details of the transaction.  I’ll explain the process and the paperwork, and give you all the information you will need to make the best decisions for you.

Finally, I work with Windermere.  I chose Windermere because it, in my opinion, has the highest degree of professionalism and integrity in the industry.  As your broker, I know I have the support I need to make your transaction as smooth as possible.

When I am not helping my clients, I love to spend time with my husband and four kids.  We like to take car trips, camp in national parks and visit historical sites.  We live in an old house, so there are always home and garden projects going on!
